The largest commercial real estate owner and operator in the city of Hartford, CT with a total portfolio of 10mm+ sqft who owns and operates office, retail, and residential assets in close proximity to one another was looking for a way to create a work / play environment for their Hartford office tenants. With the sum of their assets amounting to a large campus or mixed use facility they wanted to increase the value of each by combining the space of all the assets and make them a desirable destination for their tenant community.


By deploying Elliot as the digital infrastructure in all of their Hartford assets, the owner received a white labeled App to engage the tenant community across their properties. This allowed for the greater tenant community to be engaged across buildings in Hartford regardless of the property their lease was in. The owner recognized the unique benefit of building a community comprising of all of their tenants and then allowing retail tenants to offer products and services directly to an audience of thousands. Having a central online app that tenants could use for all of their needs including submitting work order requests, communicating with management, booking amenities, registering for events, etc., ensured high levels of engagement by users.


The owner experienced a significant increase in tenant engagement and use of their App compared the past 3rd party apps offered to tenants. With Elliot's unique vendor portal they enabled their retail tenants to market directly to thousands of tenants. Their events calendar was filled with art shows, wine tastings, wellness classes, professional trainings and more - all without hiring a full time events coordinator. The level of exposure for retail tenants helped increase retail leasing activity since they were offering a perk other owners were not. After the successful trial in Hartford, the owner implemented Elliot in their entire national portfolio to maximize tenant engagement and create new service standards across the portfolio.
