A downtown NYC owner and operator with approximately 2mm square feet of Class A office buildings in the Financial District, was looking to take advantage of the growing need for flex space and conference rooms. They also wanted to increase the use of available and empty spaces in their buildings.
Elliot created a Community App for their tenants giving them the ability to access, reserve, and pay for amenities, conference rooms, and flex desks. In addition to the App, the tenant portal allowed local residents and visitors to view availability of conference rooms and flex desks in their buildings and book them on demand. Because of the technology, all this was accomplished without hiring additional staff.
As a result of Elliot providing the platform to manage amenity and flex spaces, the buildings were able to generate immediate revenues without additional cost. With an end-to-end self service booking and payment system, the owner was able to gain new and repeat users for hourly, daily, and monthly bookings. After the initial success, the owner expanded this concept into all four of their downtown properties, which are just a 10 minute walk from large residential properties housing many young professionals.
